Fall Fishing II

When many other boats are winterized and shrink wrapped the Eastport 32 comes into its own, today for a spectacular sunset fishing expedition where Mike Johnson and I ran out for 45 minutes and picked up about 15 fish on light tackle out in the Chesapeake Bay, we took this nice one to the Boatyard Bar and Grill in Eastport where the chef expertly prepared it for a few friends and accompanied with a nice Chardonnay.

Annapolis Boatshow

Wow, finally a decent boatshow! Thank you all for coming to see us and check out the new boat. We are busy scheduling sea trials and look forward to building more boats in the coming months. The Easport 26 was the buzz and we will probably make our show debut at the Bay Bridge show (unless we slide down to Miami in March)

More on the NEW Eastport 26

We have been working hard on the final design details of the NEW Eastport 26, capturing the essence of the successful 32. We have managed to get the layout we were looking for and this little beauty will seat 8 comfortably, has a v-berth and enclosed head and powered by a single common rail turbo diesel engine will cruise very economically at 25kts with a super shallow draft, VERY cool. The first boat will be launched in late fall and with slots filling up fast we are now taking orders for late spring 2011 delivery. contact us for more details.

New boat delivered

Ed and Harriet Jennings of White Stone, Virginia on the Rappahannock River take the wheel of their new Eastport 32 just in time for summer cruising and fishing. Ed tells me that the tailgate will come in useful for backing down on the "GIANT SPOT" he catches at an undisclosed fishing hole!

Deadrise Showcase Success

A mooring cover keeps out leaves, birds and more importantly this year on the East Coast ....snow!

Easy maintenance

When designing the Eastport 32, maintenance and easy access to all the systems was a priority, here is a typical engine installation, the port engine on hull #2, great all around access!
